On Friday the whole school participated in our ANZAC Commemoration Assembly. We once again welcomed guests, including serving and past members of the New Zealand Forces, Ron Mark, MP, BOT members, representatives from the Carterton District Council and the local Returned Services Association.
Our very special guest was Epineha Ratapu, the last surviving member of the 28th Maori Battalion living in Wairarapa.
On ANZAC Day a good number of students, staff and families turned out to take part in the ANZAC parade and laying of wreaths at the cenotaph in Memorial Square.
